You are looking at a very nice Barnsdall 48 inch Porcelain double sided sign. This piece is in very good condition with some porcelain nicks and surface wear. There is a great gloss on this piece and no warping! The original cast iron ring is still on this sign! The original sign makers stamp is on the bottom of this sign as seen in pictures. Barnsdall gasoline was a unique large chain of gasoline stations along the Texas, Arizona, California Border. There saying was “Be Square To Your Motor! Buy Barnsdall Products!” I have included a picture of an old station in the pictures above. Overall a must have piece for a collection, man cave, or whatever else you might need it for.
