This company used the swastika symbol before it was used by Germany in WW2. This symbol was widely popular in the Us and Europe as a good luck symbol. The swastika was also used as an Indian Reservation symbol. This Thermometer is porcelain and is in excellent condition. The colors and gloss are unbeatable. The original stamping is still on this piece as seen in pictures. It tells the temperature correctly and would be a center piece for the collection, man cave, or whatever else you might want it for.
